Meteora Sunset Hike

On our Meteora Sunset Hike, you will learn about the history and legends of its monasteries, explore hidden caves and chapels, and enjoy a memorable sunset.

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Meteora, which has been home to Eastern Orthodox monasteries since the 14th century. This area is recognized as a World Heritage Site due to its rich history and impressive rock formations.

Upon arrival, we will begin our hike through Meteora's secret caves, visiting lesser-known sites such as the monks' prison and the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. You will also discover hermits' caves tucked among the towering rocks.

Throughout our journey, we will discuss the history and legends of Meteora while taking in stunning views of the monastic complex.

In the final part of our hike, we will pause at a viewpoint to enjoy a beautiful sunset in Meteora. Remember to bring your camera.

After approximately 4 hours of hiking, history, and breathtaking views, we will return you to your hotel.
