Why Visit the Miami Museum of Science?
The Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science is located in Maurice A. Ferré Park by Biscayne Bay. It consists of four buildings: the Aquarium, the Frost Planetarium, the North Wing, and the West Wing.
The North Wing and West Wing feature six floors of exhibitions focused on the biodiversity of the Everglades ecosystems, aerospatial science, and various interactive exhibits.
The Frost Planetarium accommodates 250 spectators and offers immersive 3D experiences with surround sound, including journeys through space, coral reefs, and DNA chains.
The Aquarium has three levels. The first level, The Vista, showcases ecosystems of southern Florida and the Gulf Stream. The second level, The Dive, explores species in underwater depths. The final level, The Deep, features jellyfish and other deep-sea species.
Opening Times
The Miami Museum of Science is open Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Visitors can arrive at any time during these hours.
