Guided Tour of Mexico City

At the designated time, we will meet at the flagpole at the main entrance of the National Anthropological Museum in Chapultepec Forest. This museum is the largest in the continent and provides insight into the pre-Hispanic origins of Mexico. Key highlights include the Sun Stone, commonly called the Aztec calendar, along with its historical significance.

Following our museum visit, we will use public transportation to reach the historic center of Mexico City. This area showcases a blend of indigenous and Spanish culture visible in its streets and buildings.

We will explore Alameda Park and review notable structures, including the Palace of Fine Arts, Palacio de Correos, Palace of Iturbide, and Casa de los Azulejos (House of Tiles).

Our next stop will be the Templo Mayor Museum, where we will tour exhibitions related to pre-Hispanic and colonial Mexico, including significant archaeological finds such as the monoliths of Coyolxauhtli and Tlaltecuhtli and the Huey Tzompantli altar.

The tour concludes around the Plaza de la Constitución, lasting approximately 4.5 hours.
