Tour Details

The tour begins at the Chapultepec Castle, currently the National History Museum, which has historical significance from battles during the American invasion to serving as a presidential residence until 1944. It was the imperial palace for Maximiliano and Carlota during the "Second Mexican Empire".

You will spend 1 hour 30 minutes at the castle, viewing sculptures of figures like Cuauhte?moc and Hernán Cortés while learning about conquest, independence, and revolution. Enjoy views of Mexico City from the castle's balconies followed by some free time for refreshments.

The tour continues with a 2-hour 30-minute guided visit to the National Anthropological Museum, which features the largest collection of pre-Colombian art globally. You will discover reconstructions of Aztec and Mayan tombs and temples, along with archaeological pieces from various ancient civilizations.

Chapultepec Castle may close occasionally without notice. A refund will be provided for any part of the tour that cannot be completed.
