Lipari & Vulcano Day Trip

Day Trip Overview

We convene at Via Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo, 45 minutes prior to the designated departure time, and proceed to the Milazzo port, where our vessel will be ready for embarkation. All set!

Our sea voyage will span an hour, providing us the opportunity to marvel at the stunning views of the Aeolian archipelago. These islands, which have piqued the interest of researchers since the 18th century, boast impressive volcanoes, some still active, generating a remarkable scenery in the heart of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Next, we will navigate towards Lipari, the most expansive of the Aeolian Islands. As we approach, we’ll pass by the iconic Faraglioni before docking at the harbor. Enjoy a two-and-a-half-hour exploration of the island at your own rhythm. The inviting bays with their clear waters and a historically rich center adorned with notable monuments are waiting for you. Be sure not to overlook the Norman cathedral and the castle!

Following our stop in Lipari, we will continue our journey to Vulcano, taking in sights such as the Grotta degli Angeli, Scoglio della Mummia, and Scoglio di Papa Giovanni along the way. Once we arrive on Vulcano, you will have two and a half hours of free time to wander and discover. This is a perfect chance to relax at one of its black sand beaches, appreciate its glorious vineyards, and explore the Venus Pool, the Grotta del Cavallo, and the Scoglio del Leone. The choice is yours!

Our day adventure will draw to a close with our return to Milazzo, approximately eight hours after our departure.
