Lipari & Vulcano Excursion

Travel by boat to the volcanic islands of Vulcano and Lipari on this excursion from Milazzo. Enjoy a landscape declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Description

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet on Via Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo and head together to the port of Milazzo, where our boat will be waiting. All aboard!

Over the course of an hour, we'll sail across the sea and admire the beauty of the Aeolian archipelago. These islands have been studied by scientists since the 18th century due to their volcanoes and spectacular landscapes in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

We'll sail towards Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands. After passing its famous Faraglioni, we'll dock at the port, where you'll have two and a half hours to explore the island. Visit the Norman cathedral and the castle among other historic sites.

After Lipari, we'll head to Vulcano, admiring views of Grotta degli Angeli, Scoglio della Mummia, and Scoglio di Papa Giovanni along the way. You will have two and a half hours of free time to explore, relax at the black sand beaches, or visit the Venus Pool, Grotta del Cavallo, and Scoglio del Leone.

The excursion concludes with our arrival back in Milazzo, eight hours after departure.
