Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea & explore three of the most famous Aeolian Islands with this day trip from Milazzo. Vulcano, Stromboli & Panarea await!
Day Trip Details
45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Via Cavour and head to the Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo where a boat awaits for our day trip.
We'll set sail for the Aeolian Islands archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Docking in Vulcano, you'll have two hours of free time. Activities include hiking to the Gran Cratere della Fossa and visiting sulfur fumaroles or taking a therapeutic mud bath in Porto di Levante.
Next, we'll sail to Panarea, the smallest island of the archipelago. Here, enjoy two and a half hours for lunch and leisure, with recommendations to visit Cala Zimmari and Cala Junco.
The last destination will be Stromboli, where you'll have two hours of free time. We suggest visiting Piazza San Vincenzo for scenic views. After sunset, witness the stunning sight of lava erupting from Stromboli.
The day trip will conclude after approximately 11 hours with our return to the Port of Milazzo.
Itinerary Changes
Between July 24 and September 30, 2024, the itinerary will change. First, we will stop in Lipari for 3 hours, followed by a 3-hour stop in Vulcano. Then, we'll view landscapes from the Panarea Sea before sailing towards Stromboli. We'll pass the Strombolicchio and observe an eruption from the sea before returning to Milazzo.
Important Info
If Stromboli is in a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert, and disembarkation is prohibited, we'll adjust the itinerary for safety. This will involve a longer stop at Panarea and a panoramic tour of Stromboli from the sea, including views of Strombolicchio and Sciara del Fuoco.
