Tour Details

To visit one of the most beautiful islands in Cape Verde, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Mindelo at the designated time to begin this tour of São Vicente.

The tour starts with a guided tour of Mindelo, passing through the historical centre and its vibrant markets to discuss the island's history.

Next, we will travel east to Monte Verde Natural Park, known for its vegetation and mountains. At an altitude of 700 metres (2300 feet), the highest point of São Vicente, you can enjoy a delicious tea while taking in the views.

We will then visit the fishing village Salamansa, where you have free time to explore, relax on the beach, swim, and eat at a local restaurant.

Following this, we will drive down the scenic Baia-Calhau road to see the spectacular views of the dunes, formed by winds from the Sahara.

Finally, we will return to Mindelo, concluding the tour after a total of 6 hours at your hotel.
