Pompeii Tour

On this tour of Pompeii, we'll visit the Roman ruins of the city that was buried for 1,700 years by Mount Vesuvius, an essential stop in Campania.

Tour Details

We will depart from the selected meeting point towards Pompeii, the Roman city impacted by Vesuvius. Upon arrival, we will take a complete tour of the ruins, going back to 79 AD, August 24, the day Emperor Titus learned of Vesuvius's eruption, which also affected Stabiae and Herculaneum.

The tour covers the remains of Pompeii, buried under ash and pumice rock, illustrating life before the eruption. Highlights include the Roman baths, bakeries, the forum, the House of the Vetti, and the lupanar, known for its frescoes.

Additionally, recent discoveries such as statues, skeletons, and tools used by the inhabitants will be highlighted. After a 3-hour guided tour, you will have free time for lunch at a local restaurant. The tour concludes with a return to the starting point after 10 hours of sightseeing.
