Learn how to make one of the most iconic and delicious Peruvian dishes at this traditional ceviche workshop in the city of Lima.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll start our ceviche workshop at the Saha Terraza Cocktail Bari in Miraflores, one of the most popular restaurants in Lima. The Peruvian Capital is considered to be the best food destination in South America.
After donning our aprons and preparing the kitchen equipment, we'll begin with Causa Rellena, a cold dish made with potato, chicken, avocado, mayonnaise, and spices.
Next, we'll make Peru's national drink: pisco. We'll learn about the distillation process of brandy and cognac from a variety of grapes and taste an intensely flavored aguardiente.
Then, we will prepare the star dish: ceviche. After chopping the ingredients, we will prepare the garnish and citrus dressings for this iconic dish.
After 2.5 hours in the kitchen, we'll conclude this workshop by tasting what we have prepared.
