Tour of the historic centre of Lima

In the morning, we'll meet in Miraflores next to the Cafeteria Terrua for our food tour. We will discuss the role of coffee in Peruvian society and its historical significance, highlighting Peruvian coffee's global value.

After the coffee tasting, we will take the metro to the historic centre of Lima, starting at the Central Market and Chinatown. Here, we will taste small recipes that combine Chinese and Peruvian cuisines, as well as traditional desserts or "chicha morada", made from purple corn.

Next, we will visit iconic sites like the Palacio de Congresos and the San Francisco Church. Nearby, we will enjoy Peruvian churros and stuffed potato with Pisco Sour at the Taberna Cordano, a traditional establishment.

We will conclude our food tour by returning you to the Miraflores neighbourhood.

Miraflores & Surquillo Tour

We will gather in the morning at Cafeteria Terrua in Miraflores to begin our food tour with a coffee tasting and its importance in Peru.

Then, we will visit the Surquillo Market to sample Peruvian fruits like lucuma and other traditional products. Following this, we will go to a local pastry shop for desserts made from market ingredients.

Later, we will visit La Preferida in Miraflores for Peruvian ceviche and tapas made with seafood, accompanied by a typical Peruvian drink.

To conclude the gastronomic tour, we will stop at a local café for a churro tasting.
