When you make a reservation, you can select from the following options for a gastronomic adventure in Lima. Both options include tastings and an English-speaking guide. Below are details of each tour:

Tour of the Historic Centre of Lima

In the morning, we'll gather in the district of Miraflores, next to Cafeteria Terrua, to kick off our food tour through the historic centre of Lima. We will discuss the role of coffee in Peruvian society and its historical significance, highlighting how Peruvian coffee has become one of the most esteemed coffees globally. You'll experience it firsthand!

Following our coffee tasting, we'll take the metro to reach the historic centre, where our first destination will be the Central Market and Chinatown. Here, we will delight in tasting small dishes that blend Chinese and Peruvian cuisines, along with traditional desserts or the local beverage "chicha morada," made from purple corn.

Our walk will continue to some of the most iconic sites in the historic centre of Lima, like the Palacio de Congresos and the San Francisco Church. Nearby, we will visit Taberna Cordano, a traditional establishment over a century old, where we will savor Peruvian churros and stuffed potato, paired with the classic Pisco Sour.

Our food tour of Lima will conclude with our return to the Miraflores neighborhood.

Miraflores & Surquillo Tour

We will meet in the morning at Cafeteria Terrua in Miraflores. Our day begins with a coffee tasting, accompanied by insights on the significance of this beverage in Peru.

Next, we will head to the Surquillo Market, where you will have the chance to sample unique Peruvian fruits such as lucuma and other traditional products. After exploring the market, we'll visit a local bakery to taste desserts crafted from ingredients seen earlier.

Later, we'll go to La Preferida, one of Miraflores' favorite spots to enjoy Peruvian ceviche. There, you'll have the opportunity to indulge in tapas made from seafood and other local specialties, accompanied by a typical Peruvian drink.

To conclude our gastronomic journey, we'll stop at a local café for a delightful churro tasting that will provide the perfect ending to the tour!
