- 1 Bewertung
On this private safari in Udawalawe, you will observe Asian elephants and other species such as buffaloes, jackals, and potentially leopards in this southern Sri Lankan reserve.
Activity Details
At the scheduled time, you will be picked up at your hotel in Mirissa and transported to Udawalawe National Park for a safari.
In a 4x4 vehicle, you will traverse the landscapes of this protected area, home to around 500 elephants. The safari will provide opportunities to see Asian elephants in their natural habitat, as well as deer, wild boar, jackals, and wild buffalo. Sightings of the elusive leopard may occur, though they are rare due to their nocturnal hunting habits.
Throughout the journey, the scenery—including grassy fields, mountain ranges, and the Walawe River—will be notable features of the reserve.
After the safari, you will stop at a local restaurant for lunch on your own. You will be returned to your hotel approximately 10 hours after pickup.
