- 10 Stunden
- 1 Bewertung
On this private safari in Udawalawe, we will observe Asian elephants and other wildlife, including buffaloes, jackals, and potentially leopards, in this southern Sri Lankan reserve.
Activity Details
At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Mirissa and transport you to Udawalawe National Park for an engaging safari.
In a 4x4 vehicle, we will explore the natural landscapes of this protected area, home to nearly 500 elephants. You will have the opportunity to see these elephants feeding, drinking, and moving across the open fields.
The park is not limited to elephants; during the safari, we may encounter deer, wild boar, jackals, and wild buffalo. There is also a chance to spot the elusive leopard, although sightings are rare as they primarily hunt at night.
Throughout the journey, you will enjoy the scenery of this notable reserve, including grassy fields, mountain ranges, and the Walawe River, which provides essential water to the local wildlife.
On the return trip to Mirissa, we will stop at a local restaurant for you to have lunch on your own. We will conclude the day by dropping you back at your hotel approximately 10 hours after pickup.
