On this safari through Yala National Park, we will explore the diverse wildlife of southern Sri Lanka, along with its remarkable landscapes.

Yala National Park Safari

At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Mirissa and travel by bus to Yala National Park.

Upon arrival, we will switch vehicles to start a 4x4 safari in Yala National Park, which covers over 97,000 hectares (239,692 acres). This park is home to one of the world's largest colonies of leopards.

After close observations of these felines, we will stop at a picnic area for breakfast. Following this, we will continue our safari to the Yala Asian elephant colony to view large herds of elephants.

Throughout the tour, we will also observe more than 100 species of birds and may encounter crocodiles, bears, wild boars, and other species from this biodiverse ecosystem. Bring your picnic basket for lunch as we will pause for a meal during the day.

At the end of the 4x4 safari, we will return to the park entrance and get back on the bus to head back to Mirissa. After an exhilarating 11 to 13 hours, we will drop you off at your hotel.
