Yala National Park Safari
At the scheduled time, pickup will be at your hotel in Mirissa, followed by a bus journey to Yala National Park.
Upon arrival, you'll transfer to a 4x4 vehicle for a safari through Yala National Park, which covers over 97,000 hectares (239,692 acres). This area is known for having one of the world's largest leopard populations.
After observing leopards, you'll stop at a picnic area for breakfast. The safari continues toward the Yala Asian elephant colony, where you can see herds of elephants.
Throughout the tour, expect to see over 100 species of birds as well as crocodiles, bears, wild boars, and diverse wildlife. A lunch break will be included, so a picnic basket is recommended.
At the conclusion of the 4x4 safari, you'll return to the park entrance before boarding the bus back to Mirissa. After an exciting 11 to 13 hours, you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
