Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and start this alternative tour of Guatemala City. We'll board a bus to discover the most interesting sites in the capital and surrounding areas.

First, we will visit the Miraflores Museum, home to a significant collection of archaeological artifacts from the Kaminal Juyú site, an ancient Mayan city dating back to 1200 BC.

Next, we will head to Cerrito del Carmen to view a Catholic church that has undergone three reconstructions. After this, we will explore the historic center of Guatemala City, focusing on the exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Following this, we will return to the Miraflores Museum for an exhibit on the Mayan world.

A break at a local restaurant will allow us to enjoy a traditional Guatemalan dish and a drink. After refueling, we will walk along 6th Avenue to reach Plaza Berlín for a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes.

We will conclude the tour between seven and eight hours after starting, returning to the initial pickup point.
