Tour Details

Join us for an alternative tour of Guatemala City! We'll pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time and set off on a bus to explore the capital city's highlights.

Our journey begins in Las Majadas, known for its Asian community. Next, we'll visit the Kaminaljuyu ruins, an ancient Maya city from 1200 BC, where we will admire the archaeological site from the exterior and learn about its history and the notable ceramics and sculptures.

After visiting the archaeological site, we'll stop at the Museo Miraflores to view a large collection of archaeological pieces found at the site.

Next, we will visit the Cerrito del Carmen, home to a Catholic church that has been rebuilt three times. We will explain the reasons for this renovation before heading to the historic center of Guatemala City to admire the exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Afterwards, we will visit the Miraflores Museum for the Maya exhibit.

We'll then enjoy traditional Guatemalan cuisine at a local restaurant, followed by a stroll along 6th Avenue to Plaza Berlín, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes – ideal for photos.

After 7 to 8 hours, we will conclude the tour and return to the starting point.
