Tour Details
Join us for a fascinating alternative tour of Guatemala City! We'll pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time and set off on a bus to explore the capital city's highlights.
We begin in Las Majadas, known for its Asian community. Next, we'll visit the Kaminaljuyu ruins, an ancient Maya city from 1200 BC, where we will admire the archaeological site from the exterior while learning about its history and the remarkable ceramics and sculptures found there.
After visiting Kaminal Juyú, we'll stop at the Museo Miraflores, which houses a large collection of archaeological pieces from the site.
Next, we visit Cerrito del Carmen to see a Catholic church that has been rebuilt three times. We’ll then head to the historic center of Guatemala City to admire the exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral before visiting the Miraflores Museum and its Maya exhibit.
We will enjoy traditional Guatemalan cuisine at a local restaurant, paired with a refreshing drink. Afterwards, we'll stroll along 6th Avenue to Plaza Berlín for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes. After between 7 and 8 hours, we'll conclude the tour and return to the starting point.
