Tikal & Yaxha 2 Day Tour

Day 1

On the first day, pickup is at 4:30 am from your hotel in Guatemala City. Travel to La Aurora International Airport for a flight to Flores.

Upon landing at Mundo Maya Airport after an hour, visit Yaxha, known for its more than 500 structures, including 9 temple pyramids, 13 altars, and 2 Mesoamerican ballcourts set in a jungle environment. After exploring, a meal stop (food not included) occurs before heading to Flores for hotel check-in.

Day 2

Following breakfast, depart for Tikal National Park, a 1 hour and 15-minute journey. The guided tour includes walking through the jungle to the Tikal ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 2000 years of history. Visit the Temple of the Great Jaguar and the Temple of the Mask, learning about Mayan civilization and historical events that led to urban abandonment.

After three hours in the park, enjoy a meal before returning to Flores airport for the flight back to Guatemala City, where a hotel drop-off is provided.
