Azulejos de Veneguera Hiking Tour
We'll meet at 10 am in the parking lot of the Azulejos de Veneguera, which is a 15-minute drive from the center of Mogán. The hiking route is 8.5 kilometers long, leading us through the mountains of western Gran Canaria.
As we walk through this semi-desert landscape, we will admire the vivid greens and reds of the Azulejos de Veneguera. Our guide will explain how this natural monument was formed after the eruptions of the Tejeda volcano.
During the hike, we will also explore the various ravines and streams in the area. Participants can take photos of the local landscape and wildlife, with opportunities to spot native species like Canary Island pines and the succulent plant known as verodes.
At 3 pm, we will return to the starting point and conclude the tour.
