On this tour of Molinaseca, we'll follow the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago) to discover one of the beautiful villages in El Bierzo.

Tour of Molinaseca

At the indicated time, we'll meet next to the chapel of Nuestra Señora de las Angustias. From there, we'll begin the tour of Molinaseca, following the path that pilgrims take on the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela.

We'll start by crossing the famous Roman bridge, behind which lies the historic center of the town. This municipality of Bierzo is noted for its beauty.

First, we'll stop at the church of San Nicolás de Bari, the most notable church in the town. Then, we'll proceed to Real Street, where we will admire the facades and coats of arms of historic residences such as the Casa-Palacio de Cangas y Pambley and the Casa de Doña Urraca.

Continuing along Real Street, we'll reach the Plaza del Santo Cristo. Here, we'll see the fountain of the Apostle Santiago, a common stop for pilgrims crossing El Bierzo on their way to Compostela.

After a tour lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, we'll conclude at the fountain of the Apostle Santiago.
