Boat Cruise

Enjoy a traditional Kenyan-style meal while cruising along the coast of Mombasa. Experience this unique opportunity on a traditional wooden boat known as a jahazi.

Types of Boat Cruise

You can choose between a daytime cruise with lunch or a nighttime cruise with dinner during your booking.

Boat Cruise with Lunch

Ppickup from your hotel is at 12 noon, followed by transportation to the port of Mombasa to board a jahazi. The route will take you along the historic Tudor neighborhood while you enjoy a Kenyan lunch. After the cruise, return transportation to your hotel is provided.

Boat Cruise with Dinner

Pickup from your hotel starts around 5:00 pm for a romantic evening cruise. You will sail towards Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while enjoying a welcome cocktail. A traditional dinner will be served midway, with music entertainment provided by an onboard DJ. After the cruise, return to your hotel.

Menu

Onboard meals include a selection of seafood, daily soup, a choice of main course (half a grilled lobster, grilled prawns, Swahili-style seafood, grilled beef steak), and fruit salad. Drinks are not included.

Hotel Pick Up

This tour excludes pickup from hotels in the South Coast, Kilifi, Watamu, and Malindi. An additional supplement may apply for these locations during booking.
