The Kongo Mosque, camel and boat rides, the Sacred Forest of Kaya Kinondo, Shimoni... On this excursion along the Kenyan coast, we'll take you to discover the most spectacular places in Mombasa and Diani.

Day Trip Along the Kenyan Coast

We'll pick you up at your hotel between 8 and 9 am to embark on a comprehensive tour of the Kenyan coast.

The first destination is the Kongo Mosque, the oldest mosque in East Africa, built in the 14th century. This site is set amidst a garden of baobabs and near the Congo River and the Indian Ocean.

Next, we will head to the river bank to board a canoe for a leisurely ride through the mangrove forests. After an hour on the water, we will proceed to Diani beach.

In Diani, we will enjoy a camel ride along the beach, an iconic activity in the area.

We will then visit the Sacred Forest of Kaya Kinondo, a natural site sacred to the Digo people, featuring over 180 species of plants.

At 1 pm, we will arrive in Shimoni for lunch at a local seafood restaurant. Following lunch, a guided tour of Shimoni will include visits to the cave and its ancient cemetery.

To conclude the day, we will take a boat ride on the Wasini Channel, which includes snorkeling and viewing a breathtaking sunset.

We will return to your hotel at approximately 7 pm.
