Join us on this boat trip around Mompox where we'll sail along one of the most important tributaries of the Magdalena River. We'll explore the flora and fauna of this Colombian town.
Mompox Boat Ride
We'll pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time and head to the local dock. There, we'll board a boat for a river trip around Mompox. Once on board, we'll start sailing along the Mompox Arm, a significant tributary of the Magdalena River. During the two-and-a-half-hour trip, we'll observe the landscapes of Mompox, rich in riverside vegetation, and learn about this area.
Herons, kingfishers, and cormorants are some of the migratory birds we may spot from the boat. As we sail upriver, we'll pass through the village of Troncosito, providing memorable views of the region.
Finally, we'll return to the dock and accompany you back to your hotel, concluding the tour in approximately 2.5 hours.
