Mompox Boat Ride

We will pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time and travel to the local dock. There, we will board a boat for a river trip around Mompox.

Once on board, we will sail along the Mompox Arm, one of the Magdalena River's main tributaries. During the two-and-a-half-hour trip, we will take in the landscapes of Mompox, characterized by riverside vegetation while learning about the area.

Expect to spot herons, kingfishers, and cormorants, among other migratory birds, from the boat. As we proceed upriver, we will pass through the village of Troncosito, providing memorable views of the surroundings.

We will return to the dock and escort you back to your hotel, completing the experience in approximately 2.5 hours.
