On this Monopoli bike tour, we'll ride through the city's historic centre and into the Bari region's countryside, experiencing the atmosphere of southern Italy.

At the indicated time, we will meet at the Info Point Sala dei Pescatori to distribute bikes and helmets before starting the tour of Monopoli, a prominent city in the Bari region.

The bike tour begins in the historic centre, where we'll pedal to explore its main monuments, including the basilica of the Madonna della Madia.

After the old town, we will enter the rural countryside of Apulia. We'll ride along roads flanked by dry stone walls and fields of olive and carob trees, immersing in the atmosphere of southern Italy.

During the tour, we will see farms, oil mills, and cave churches such as the church of the Holy Spirit, which features Romanesque architecture and medieval frescoes.

Finally, we will return to the starting point in Monopoli to leave the bikes and conclude the 3-hour tour.
