On this Monopoli bike tour, we'll ride through the city's historic centre and into the Bari region's countryside.

Monopoli Bike Tour

At the indicated time, we will meet at the Info Point Sala dei Pescatori to provide bikes and helmets before starting the tour of Monopoli, a notable city in the Bari region.

The bike tour begins in the historic centre, exploring its main monuments, including the basilica of the Madonna della Madia.

We will then transition from the old town to the rural countryside of Apulia, cycling along roads bordered by dry stone walls and fields of olive and carob trees, enjoying the authentic southern Italian atmosphere.

During the tour, we will encounter farms, oil mills, and cave churches such as the Romanesque church of the Holy Spirit, which contains medieval frescoes.

We will conclude by returning to the starting point in Monopoli to return the bikes and end the tour after 3 hours.
