Montalcino Wine Tasting

Welcome to Castello Tricerchi! At your chosen time, we will visit this medieval mansion, located just 10 km from Montalcino. Accompanied by a guide, we will walk through the vineyards and enter the building for a wine tasting experience.

Inside, we will learn about the origins of this 15th-century structure, once owned by a powerful family in Siena. We will visit the barrel room and explore the wine production secrets.

We will discuss the methods and techniques of Montalcino wine production and identify grape varieties, such as Sangiovese, prominent in this region.

Next, we will proceed to the tasting room to sample 3 different wines, including the notable Brunello di Montalcino. Following the sommelier's guidance, we will explore the nuances of each wine, complimented by ciaccino, a typical focaccia from Siena.

After a 1.5-hour visit, we will conclude the activity outside the winery.
