After meeting your guide at the indicated time in Via Reale Basilica, the most important street in the town, you'll begin your private tour of Monte Sant'Angelo.

Your first stop will be exploring the historic neighbourhood of Junno, where you'll visit the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, dating back to the 11th century. Inside, you can see the Byzantine-style frescos.

Next, you will visit the Sanctuary of Monte Sant'Angelo, a significant pilgrimage destination since the Middle Ages. Learn about the history of this shrine, the oldest in Western Europe dedicated to the archangel Michael, and admire its well-preserved architecture and artwork.
