Bus + Boat Transport to La Fortuna

After picking you up at your hotel in Monteverde, we will depart in a minibus toward La Fortuna, the gateway to the Arenal Volcano National Park.

We will head to Lake Arenal, the largest lake in Costa Rica, approximately 30 kilometers (18 miles) long. Upon arrival at the shore, we will switch to a boat. During the cruise, we will enjoy the lake from a distinct perspective and learn interesting facts, including its expansion in the 70s for hydroelectric power generation.

While on the boat, we will take in views of the volcanoes. Remember to bring your camera.

We will disembark on the north shore of Lake Arenal and board another minibus that will take us to our final destination. After three hours of driving, we will arrive at your hotel in La Fortuna, where you can explore the town.
