After picking you up at your hotel in Monteverde, we'll depart in a minibus toward La Fortuna, known as the gateway to the Arenal Volcano National Park.

We'll head to Lake Arenal, the largest lake in Costa Rica, approximately 30 kilometers (18 miles) long. Upon arrival at the shore, we'll switch to a boat. While crossing the lake, we will learn about its significance, including its expansion in the 70s for hydroelectric power generation.

During the boat ride, we will see stunning views of the volcanoes. Bring your camera.

After disembarking on the north shore of Lake Arenal, we will board a minibus for the final leg of the journey. After three hours of travel, we will arrive at your hotel in La Fortuna, where you can explore the town.
