Itinerary

The tour meets early to travel by bus to Liguria, exploring the Cinque Terre, a combination of five towns on clifftops surrounded by vineyards. We'll arrive at Manarola, the oldest town, known for its fishermen and wine producers. Then we head to Riomaggiore by train, an 18th-century town with 1,500 inhabitants.

From Riomaggiore, we take a boat to Monterosso, where we'll spend two hours exploring, enjoying the largest beaches in the area, and having time for lunch before taking the train to Vernazza, a notable fishing village with a natural port. Finally, we'll take the train to La Spezia, where the coach will return us to Montecatini.

Lunch in Monterosso

In Monterosso, you can have lunch at a local restaurant or choose the option with lunch when booking. The menu features seafood salad, pasta with pesto, and dessert, with water or wine included. If you prefer a vegetarian option, please indicate it in the reservation comments.

Self-Guided Cinque Terre Tour

Alternatively, you can reserve the self-guided excursion, traveling to Manarola by bus and having the entire day to explore Cinque Terre at your pace. This option does not include transport between towns. The escort will provide the pickup point in La Spezia for the return to Montecatini.

Important Information

This excursion will not include the Via dell’Amore, as the trail is closed until 2023. The boat tour is operational until October, subject to weather conditions. If unavailable, the itinerary will be conducted by bus and train.
