Battered by the Ligurian Sea are five villages full of colour and charm. Discover them on this excursion in Cinque Terre, a day where you fall in love.
Itinerary
The tour meets early to travel by bus to Liguria, encountering a dreamlike landscape: Cinque Terre, a combination of five towns perched on clifftops surrounded by vineyards and hills. We'll arrive at Manarola, the oldest town in the Cinque Terre, known for its fishermen and wine producers. Then we'll head to Riomaggiore by train, an 18th-century town with 1,500 inhabitants.
Next, we'll take a boat to Monterosso, spending two hours exploring its streets and beaches. Here, you can eat and take a breather before taking the train to Vernazza, a fishing village with a notable natural port. We will end the day by taking a train to La Spezia, where the coach will return us to Montecatini.
Lunch in Monterosso
We'll pause in Monterosso for lunch, where you can go to a local restaurant or choose a pre-booked lunch option. The menu includes seafood salad, pasta with pesto, dessert, and water or wine. If a vegetarian option is desired, it should be indicated in the reservation comments.
Self-Guided Cinque Terre Tour
If you prefer to explore Cinque Terre at your own pace, we offer a self-guided excursion option. You will travel to Manarola by bus and have the day to tour Cinque Terre independently. This option does not include transport between the towns. The escort will provide the pickup point in La Spezia for the return trip to Montecatini.
Important Information
This excursion will not include the famous Via dell’Amore, as it is closed until 2023. However, you can still appreciate the Italian coast's beauty. The boat tour is operational only until October and is subject to weather conditions. If unavailable, the itinerary will proceed by bus and train.
