Twilight New Moon Movie Tour
Are you prepared to immerse yourself in the universe created by Stephenie Meyer? At a time that suits you, our adventure will commence in the central Piazza Grande of Montepulciano, where we'll embark on a journey to the locations featured in the second installment of the Twilight saga.
Adjacent to the Palazzo Comunale, we will reminisce about one of the film’s most memorable moments, where Bella Swan swiftly navigated the town's streets in an effort to rescue Edward Cullen.
Do you recall what the characters were engaged in during their time in Italy? Let’s delve into the story of the Vulturi, an ancient and influential family of vampires originally from Volterra. However, for the filming of New Moon, the production team decided to shift the location slightly to Montepulciano—such is the enchantment of cinema!
Throughout this tour, we will stroll through the narrow passage of Vicolo della Concordia, the very spot where Alice Cullen and Bella parked their vehicle upon reaching the city. We will also take a look at Piazza delle Erbe, admire the façade of the Church of St. Francis, and much more.
Additionally, our journey will lead us to an underground winery in Montepulciano for a tasting of exquisite wines and local delicacies. Following this delightful experience, we will proceed to a quaint restaurant for a special aperitif... Here’s a hint - it will have a vampire twist!
To conclude our adventure, after 1 hour and 30 minutes, we will wrap up our tour in the historic heart of Montepulciano.
