Day Trip to Colonia del Sacramento

On this day trip to Colonia del Sacramento from Montevideo, you will travel by bus with Buquebus to a notable destination in Uruguay, with options for a guided tour or bike rental. Overnight stays at a hotel are also available.

Tour Details

We will meet at the Buquebus ticket desk in the Tres Cruces Terminal in Montevideo. The bus departs from General Artigas Boulevard 1825, taking approximately 2 hours to reach the Buquebus terminal at Colonia del Sacramento Pier.

Upon arrival, you will engage in activities based on your selected tour option. At 7:15 pm, return to the Buquebus terminal for the bus back to Montevideo, concluding the trip after about 15 hours.

Transport, Tour, Sightseeing Bus & Bull Ring

Upon arrival, board the sightseeing bus with 10 stops over 50 minutes. The first stop is in the old town at Ituzaingó and Arquitecto Miguel Ángel Odriozola streets. You can hop on and off as desired. A 50-minute guided tour is available daily at 11 am, 12 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm, visiting key landmarks. This option includes a ticket to the Bull Ring, open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6:30 pm.

Transport, Tour, Sightseeing Bus, Bull Ring & Lunch

This option includes lunch at El Refugio restaurant, open daily from 12 pm to 4 pm, offering a starter, main dish, and dessert (drinks not included).

Transport + Bike Rental

Receive a bike upon arrival, allowing you to explore until departure time, returning the bike at the Colonia del Sacramento Pier.

Transport, Tour, Sightseeing Bus & One Night's Accommodation

This option includes the same tour as the first, plus a transfer to a 4-star hotel (Dazzler by Wyndham Colonia or similar). The next day, you will be transported back to the pier for the return bus to Montevideo. Note that the hotel stay includes accommodation only; meals are not included.
