Primuseum Restaurant

The Primuseum restaurant is located in an old mansion in Montevideo that dates back to 1870, housing an exhibition of over 3,000 antiques of Rioplatense culture. You will begin your six-course meal and enjoy a tango show with live music featuring a bandoneon, double bass, piano, and singer performing Uruguayan folk songs. From Friday to Sunday, you can also enjoy a couple dancing to the sound of the quartet.

Starters

Shot of colonia cheese foam with tomato grissini wrapped with prosciutto, green olive truffle, and almonds on sweet potato in syrup.Sweetbread croquant on potato emulsion and roasted garlic.Potato straw with house eggs and chorizo sausage with sauerkraut sauce.

Main course (choose one)

Roast lamb in garlic and rosemary butter on polenta with parmesan, turmeric, and tomato pesto.Roast beef in red wine sauce and mushroom risotto.Eggplant roasted in olive and smoked paprika, au gratin in bechamel and parmesan.

Dessert (both served)

Chocolate and sweet potato cake soaked in dulce de leche and baileys frosting.Cinnamon roll with wine-baked peach and lime cream cheese.

Drinks
