Description

We will pick you up at your hotel in Montevideo at the designated time to explore vineyards near Uruguay's capital. Our journey includes the Canelones wine region, focusing on the cultivation of the Tannat grape. We will stop at various vineyards to observe the vines and learn about the cultivation process.

Next, we will visit a winery from the early 20th century, depending on availability and season, where you can discover and sample the best local wines.

The tour concludes with a tasting of cheese, cured ham, and empanadas, enhancing the wine experience. After the tasting, we will return to Montevideo, with an estimated arrival at your hotel approximately four and a half hours after pickup.

Optional lunch add-on

If selected, post-tasting, you will enjoy a Uruguayan lunch at the winery’s restaurant featuring a traditional barbecue. After lunch, we will return to Montevideo, with an expected arrival at your hotel around five and a half hours after pickup.
