Montevideo Sightseeing Tour

We'll collect you from your hotel at the indicated time to discover the Uruguayan capital's most iconic monuments and landmarks. An English-speaking guide will provide live commentary on the best-known corners of the city.

The tour begins in Ciudad Vieja (Old City), the nucleus of Montevideo's foundation. We will visit Plaza de la Independencia, where we will find the Puerta de la Ciudadela, Solís Theatre, Executive Tower, Estévez Palace, Salvo Palace, and the monument to José Gervasio Artigas.

Next, we will walk through the city center along Avenida 18 de Julio, passing the Legislative Palace, the seat of Parliament, and the Agricultural Market of Montevideo, featuring a variety of local products.

The tour continues at José Batlle y Ordoñez Park for views of Centenario Stadium and the Monumento la Carreta sculpture. We will stop at the Rambla de Pocitos for photos at the Montevideo sign.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel three hours after the start time.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup and drop-off from hotels in downtown Montevideo, Pocitos, Punta Carretas, and Carrasco at 8:30 am and 1:30 pm. Note that pickup in Carrasco isn’t available for the 1:30 pm slot. For those staying outside these areas or in hostels or Airbnbs, we’ll confirm the exact time and meeting point one day before the activity.
