Montevideo Tour

After collecting you from your hotel at the indicated time, we will start our guided walking tour of the Old City in the heart of Montevideo. We will stroll through the historic quarter and admire the blend of European architecture and Latin culture.

We will browse the street stalls in the historic center of Uruguay's capital (only on the weekend). In these open-air markets, you will find typical food, fresh fruit, jewelry, books, paintings, and souvenirs. Our tour includes a visit to the Port Market where you can taste local gastronomy.

We will visit the Montevideo Metropolitan Cathedral, Plaza Independencia (Independence Square), and 18 de Julio Avenue, before arriving at the Legislative Palace. Inaugurated in 1925, it is considered one of the beautiful palaces of congress globally. We then head to the Farmer's Market, where you have free time to browse local produce. Next, we visit the Estadio Centenario, recognized by FIFA as the only historic monument to World Football.

Our tour continues to Batlle Park and then to residential neighborhoods, such as Carrasco, surrounded by nature. We finish our tour by heading back to your hotel via La Rambla, a 14-mile avenue along the River Plate estuary, showcasing local life with cyclists, fishermen, and yachts lining the wharves.
