Montevideo Tour

After hotel pickup at the specified time, we will begin our guided walking tour of the Old City. We will navigate the historic quarter and admire the blend of European architecture and Latin culture that fills the streets.

Experience the street stalls in the historic center (only on weekends), where you can find typical regional food, fresh fruit, jewelry, books, paintings, and souvenirs. We will visit the Port Market to taste local gastronomy.

We will also visit the Montevideo Metropolitan Cathedral, Plaza Independencia, and 18 de Julio Avenue, culminated by a stop at the Legislative Palace, inaugurated by architect Cayetano Moretti in 1925, regarded as one of the most beautiful congress palaces in the world. Afterward, enjoy free time at the Farmer's Market to browse local produce at your leisure. Next, we will head to Estadio Centenario, home of the Uruguay national football team, recognized by FIFA as a historic monument to World Football.

The tour continues in Batlle Park and the residential neighborhoods like Carrasco, surrounded by nature. Finally, we will return to your hotel via La Rambla, a 14-mile avenue along the River Plate estuary, showcasing local life such as cyclists, fishermen, and yachts along the wharves.
