Montevideo Tour

After collecting you from your hotel at the indicated time, we will start our guided walking tour of the Old City in the heart of Montevideo. We will stroll through the historic quarter and admire the blend of European architecture and Latin culture.

We will browse the street stalls in the historic center (only on weekends). In these open-air markets, you will find typical food, fresh fruit, jewelry, books, paintings, and souvenirs. The tour includes a visit to the Port Market where you can taste local gastronomy.

We will visit the Montevideo Metropolitan Cathedral, Plaza Independencia (Independence Square), and 18 de Julio Avenue, before arriving at the Legislative Palace, inaugurated in 1925 and considered one of the most beautiful palaces of congress. We will then head to the Farmer's Market for free time to browse local produce. Next, we visit Estadio Centenario, home of the Uruguay national football team and recognized as a historic monument to World Football.

The tour continues at Batlle Park and then to residential neighborhoods like Carrasco, surrounded by nature. We finish by heading back to your hotel via La Rambla, a 14-mile avenue along the coastline of the River Plate estuary, showcasing local life, including cyclists, fishermen, and yachts.
