After hotel pickup at the indicated time, we will begin our guided walking tour of the Old City. We will stroll through the historic quarter and admire the blend of European architecture and Latin culture present in the streets.

On weekends, we will browse the street stalls that characterize the historic center of Uruguay's capital, where you will find typical food, fresh fruit, jewelry, books, paintings, and souvenirs. Our tour includes a visit to the Port Market, where you can sample local gastronomy.

We will visit the Montevideo Metropolitan Cathedral, Plaza Independencia (Independence Square), and 18 de Julio Avenue, culminating at the Legislative Palace, inaugurated in 1925 by architect Cayetano Moretti, noted as one of the most beautiful congress palaces globally. Following this, we will proceed to the Farmer's Market for free time to browse local produce. Next, we will visit Estadio Centenario, home of the Uruguay national football team and recognized by FIFA as the only historic monument to World Football.

The tour continues at Batlle Park and some charming residential neighborhoods, like Carrasco, surrounded by nature. We will conclude the tour with a return to your hotel via La Rambla, a 14-mile avenue along the coastline of the River Plate estuary, where you can observe local life including cyclists, fishermen, and yachts along the wharves.
