Discover Punta del Este on this trip from Montevideo! We'll take you along Uruguay's glorious Costa de Oro coastline and you'll have the chance to relax on Playa Mansa.

Punta del Este Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Montevideo and head east to begin the excursion to Punta del Este, also along the spectacular Costa de Oro coastline. Our first stop will be Punta Ballena to visit the Casapueblo citadel, built by Uruguayan sculptor Carlos Páez Vilaró since 1958. This structure has evolved from a wooden shack into a 13-floor mansion that contains a museum, art gallery, and hotel.

Next, we will proceed to Punta del Este, known as the "Monaco of the South," where you can see mansions and summer homes in neighborhoods such as Beverly Hills, El Golf, Cantegril, and San Rafael. The tour continues to the Undulating Bridge towards Playa Brava and Playa Mansa, featuring the notable sculpture "The Hand" of Punta del Este emerging from the sand—a perfect photo opportunity.

Finally, we will stop in the city center, offering you 2.5 hours of free time for lunch and shopping at the handicrafts market. After a 10-11 hour tour, we will return to Montevideo.
