Montpellier Wine + Oyster Tasting Tour

On this wine and oyster tour, you will visit the Étang de Thau lagoon oyster farm and taste fresh oysters, followed by a winery tour and tasting.

Montpellier Wine + Oyster Tasting Tour

We will meet at the Esplanade de l'Europe in Montpellier at 10 am and head south towards the Étang de Thau, known for oyster farming.

Upon arrival at the Étang de Thau, we will visit an oyster farm. Participants will learn about the cultivation and harvesting of these molluscs. The scenic Bouzigues lagoon will also be a highlight.

To complete the visit to the farm, we will enjoy a tasting of freshly caught oysters. Next, we will travel to a wine estate on the outskirts of Montpellier for a wine tasting.

At the wine estate, we will explore the cellar and learn about the Languedoc region’s wine-making process. A tasting of whites, reds, and rosés will follow.

After this tour, we will return to Montpellier, concluding the tour at 1:30 pm.
