On this wine and oyster tour, you will indulge your taste buds. We will visit the impressive Étang de Thau lagoon oyster farm and taste fresh oysters followed by a winery tour and tasting.

Montpellier Wine + Oyster Tasting Tour

We will meet at the Esplanade de l'Europe in Montpellier at 10 am and head south towards the Étang de Thau, a place that specializes in oyster farming.

Upon arrival at the Étang de Thau, we will visit an oyster farm. You will learn about the way these molluscs are cultivated and how they are harvested. If the oysters don't captivate your taste buds, the scenery of this Bouzigues lagoon will.

To complete the visit, we will enjoy a tasting of freshly caught oysters. Then we will head to a wine estate on the outskirts of Montpellier for a glass of wine.

At the next stop, we will explore the cellar and learn about the Languedoc region's wine-making process. It will be time for the tasting, enjoying a range of whites, reds, and rosés.

After this wine and oyster tour, we will return to the starting point in Montpellier and finish the tour at 1:30 pm.
