Pic Saint-Loup Excursion + Wine Tasting

At 9:30 am, we'll leave from the Esplanade de l'Europe square in Montpellier and head towards Pic Saint-Loup, one of the most remarkable mountains of the Languedoc-Roussillon region in southern France.

We'll walk through the surroundings of this peak, exploring the area's botanical and geological diversity. You'll learn about the main plants, trees, rocks and minerals, and see the neighboring Hortus Causse mountains in the distance.

The tour includes a visit to the area's extensive vineyards, where we'll learn about the grape varieties grown in this wine-growing region of Languedoc.

Our last stop will be at a local winery for a tasting of Languedoc wines. You'll sample different kinds of Grand Crus, the most select varieties.

After the wine tasting, we will return to Montpellier, arriving back at the departure point around 5:30 pm.
