We'll meet at 9 am at the Mosson tram station in Montpellier and travel by minibus to Hérault. There, you'll find Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, known for its medieval architecture.

Before visiting the village, we'll tour the surrounding area, starting with a pottery workshop followed by a stop at a viewpoint to admire the gorges of the region.

The excursion continues to Salagou Lake, where you will have time for lunch while enjoying views of the Hérault valley. The next stop will be at the Pont du Diable, a stone footbridge built in the Middle Ages, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998.

After visiting the bridge, we'll proceed with a guided tour of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. You'll learn about the history of its prominent monument, the Gellone Abbey, which is part of the French Way of St. James.

At 5 pm, we'll return to the starting point in Montpellier.
