Sète Trip & Oyster Tasting

Culture and food come together perfectly on this trip to Sète, a beautiful town in Occitania where we'll taste the best oysters in the south of France.

Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Place de l'Europe in Montpellier and travel to Sète. Upon arrival, we'll enjoy views of Bassin de Thau, the largest lake in Occitania, followed by an hour of walking through the seaside district of La Pointe Courte, known for its traditional fishermen's houses.

Next, we'll visit an oyster farm, where a local oyster farmer will explain the cultivation of oysters and shellfish in the area. Following this, we'll participate in a tasting of oysters, featuring the renowned Bouzigue oysters and Brasucade cooked with grilled mussels, served with lemon or tarragon vinegar.

After this culinary experience, we'll return to the meeting point in Montpellier, concluding this 4-hour excursion.
