Pagos Rey Wine Museum

We'll meet at the entrance to the Pagos del Rey Wine Museum to begin our guided tour of this winery converted for educational purposes. The tour lasts around 3 hours and covers wine production; cultivation, fermentation, ageing are key topics we will explore.

During our tour of this 1964 building, we will observe its original characteristics: the traditional roofing system and the original wine barrels. The museum features various pieces, audiovisual content, and digital screens, enhancing the educational experience. A highlight is the ageing room, which contains over two thousand French and American oak barrels.

We will also visit the 2,000 square metre garden that cultivates some of the plants essential for wine production. A tasting of a glass of wine paired with a tapa is included in the tour.
