Pagos Rey Wine Museum

We will meet at the scheduled time at the entrance of the Pagos Rey Wine Museum to begin our guided visit of this old cooperative transformed into an educational center. The tour will cover the essential aspects of wine production including cultivation, fermentation, and aging.

During our guided walk through this 1964 building, we will observe the original roof system and the 28 fermentation tanks. The 1,000-square-meter space features artifacts, audiovisual displays, and digital screens that enhance interactivity. A highlight is the aging cellar, which contains over two thousand French and American oak barrels.

We will have access to the 2,000-square-meter garden, showcasing some of the Duero species necessary for wine production. A break in the tour will include a glass of wine paired with a small snack. Participants can explore the qualities and properties detected in the wine after a few sips. The activity will conclude with a virtual reality experience.

The visit to the Pagos Rey Wine Museum will last a total of two hours, concluding with an understanding of the history and origin of this ancient drink.
