Los Filtros Viejos Adventure Tour

After picking you up at 10 am from your hotel in Morelia, we'll head to the Los Filtros Viejos nature reserve, a natural area on the outskirts of the city for an adventure tour.

Upon arrival, we'll set off on a two to three hour hiking route. Along the way, we will observe some of the 102 species of birds in the reserve, including the harlequin quail, the elegant fruiteater, and the acorn woodpecker.

We will also learn about local flora, including American cedar and flame coral tree, while admiring a waterfall in a lush setting and viewing the remains of the old Morelia aqueduct.

After the hike, we'll stop at a rocky area for abseiling, where you will descend an 8-metre high wall, testing your climbing skills. Following this, you'll have free time to eat and regain energy. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Morelia by 6 pm.
