After picking you up from your hotel in Morelia at 8 am, we'll head to Santa Clara del Cobre, one of Michoacán's Magical Towns, with deep-rooted traditions and culture.

We'll take a guided tour of the historic centre of Santa Clara del Cobre to admire some of its most important monuments, including the baroque colonial façade of the Church of Nuestra Señora del Sagrario and the Church of the Immaculate Conception.

Passing through the main square, we'll admire picturesque houses with arcades and watch the locals by the pavilion. After our tour of Santa Clara, you'll have an hour of free time to have lunch or explore at your own pace.

Afterwards, we'll visit a handicraft workshop to witness the local technique of copper hammering, used by the ancient Purépechas. We'll see some finished works and understand how this craft has been passed down through generations.

We'll finish the tour by returning to your hotel in Morelia for 7 pm.
