The adventure begins at 10 am with your hotel pickup in Morelia, followed by a journey to Teremendo de los Reyes.

As we explore this picturesque town, we will delve into its Purepecha heritage, including its establishment by Bishop Vasco de Quiroga. Our visit includes the Church of the Holy Kings, where we will appreciate its impressive bell tower and learn about the vibrant celebration held on January 6th in honor of the Three Wise Men.

Wandering through the quaint, narrow lanes of Teremendo de los Reyes, framed by traditional adobe and tile houses, we'll then visit an artisan bakery to observe the local bread-making techniques.

You will have around an hour to savor a leisurely lunch before we embark on a 20-minute trek to the Alberca de Morelia, known as one of Michoacán's three volcanic lakes.

Diving into the narratives surrounding this striking volcanic crater, we will take in the scenic surroundings, including white sapote trees, ash trees, cacti, and oaks. Did you know that the lake's water color shifts from dark brown to an enchanting emerald green throughout the year?

Our return journey to Morelia will conclude with an expected arrival at your hotel by 6 pm.
