Tiristarán Caves & Chiquimitio Waterfall Day Trip

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Morelia and travel to Tiristarán, a small town in Michoacán de Ocampo.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a 1.2-mile (2-kilometre) hike to the Tiristarán Caves. After donning our protective gear, we will enter three significant caves.

Inside the caves, we will learn about their names: The Patio, the Stair, and the cave of the Bats, and observe unusual rock formations caused by water and wind seepage.

Following our cave exploration, a traditional lunch will be provided. After lunch, we will visit Chiquimitio Waterfall, a stunning waterfall that flows into a turquoise blue pool, offering an opportunity to swim. For those interested, abseiling next to the waterfall is also available.

We will conclude the day by returning to Morelia, arriving at your hotel by 6 pm.
