Activity Overview

We’ll meet you at your hotel in Moyobamba to kick off this hiking expedition, leading us through two breathtaking landscapes. Our journey will begin with a vehicle ride to the Soritor district, taking approximately an hour and a half, all while soaking in the magnificent scenery along the route.

Our initial halt will occur close to Selva Alegre, where we will embark on a 20-minute hike. This enjoyable trek presents an opportunity to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna of northern Peru, including a charming small sulfurous waterfall!

Upon reaching the Aguas Calientes and Frías waterfalls, their distinctiveness will become evident. A cold waterfall, approximately 8 meters high, cascades into three natural hot spring pools boasting temperatures that range from 26 to 35°C (78.8–95°F). You will have ample time to unwind and enjoy a refreshing swim.

Following this, we’ll savor a delicious lunch that features a traditional regional delicacy, accompanied by a soft drink. After rejuvenating, we'll proceed to the Piscina de los Reyes, accessible after a brief 15-minute stroll through vibrant greenery. Here, you can relax in the serenity of its clear, peaceful pools.

After a fulfilling eight hours immersed in nature's wonders, we will commence our return journey, concluding with your drop-off at your hotel in Moyobamba.
