Santa Elena Reserve + Tioyacu River Private Tour

At 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Moyobamba and head east towards the Santa Elena ecological reserve, with a travel time of about 1 hour by minibus.

We will spend approximately 3 hours in the Santa Elena Ecological Reserve, known for its ecotourism in the Alto Mayo forest, home to over 130 species of birds and endemic mammals, including the titi monkey.

After learning about the reserve's biodiversity, we'll board a boat to navigate the river and enjoy the surroundings, which include orchids, huasca renaco trees, and platanillo bijao bushes.

Next, we will visit the source of the Tioyacu River, where you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters surrounded by lush nature.

Our last stop will be on the outskirts of the city of Rioja for lunch, featuring a typical Peruvian dish and a chance to try some curious local drinks.

We will conclude the excursion at 5 pm, returning you to your hotel.
