At 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Moyobamba and head east towards the Santa Elena ecological reserve, a journey of approximately 1 hour by minibus.

We'll spend about 3 hours exploring the Santa Elena Ecological Reserve, known for its rich biodiversity, including over 130 species of birds and endemic mammals like the titi monkey. Afterward, we will board a boat to navigate the river and further enjoy the local flora, including orchids and notable trees such as huasca renaco.

Next, we will visit the source of the Tioyacu River, where you can take a refreshing dip in the clear waters surrounded by lush nature.

Our final stop will be on the outskirts of Rioja for a lunch featuring a typical Peruvian dish and to sample some intriguing local beverages.

The excursion will conclude at 5 pm, followed by your return to the hotel.
