Tingana Nature Reserve Private Excursion

At 6 am, pickup will be at your hotel in Moyobamba for transportation by minibus to the Tingana Ecological Reserve. After a 2-hour drive, we will arrive for a local breakfast. Following this, we will take a boat across the Mayo and Avisado rivers to explore the reserve.

During the boat ride, observe the diverse flora and fauna. Look for woodpeckers, monkeys, sloths, afaninga snakes, and more while learning about these species and the various shapes of the trees.

We will return to land for a lunch prepared over a wood fire, featuring a typical dish and a drink. Next, we will visit Finca Don Pepito to learn about the coffee, cacao, and vanilla plantations and explore a small orchid farm.

The excursion concludes at 3:30 pm as we return to your hotel.

2-day excursion

If you wish to spend a night at the Tingana Ecological Reserve, this option includes the same activities plus a night walk through the jungle.

After a night’s rest, breakfast in the reserve will be provided. We will conclude the excursion by returning to the minibus and departing at 10 am to your hotel in Moyobamba.

The 2-day excursion includes one night of accommodation in double rooms at the Tingana Natural Refuge.
