At your chosen time, we will start the tour either at your hotel or from a central location in Bern. During this private walking tour, we will explore the history of the Swiss capital and see its most iconic monuments.

As this is a private tour, you'll get to decide the route you'd like to follow. We will stroll around the historic centre of the city and stop at the places that interest you to discuss them in more detail.

We will visit the Old City, a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved medieval streets. In the Old City, we will see Bern Minster, which took over 400 years to build, the medieval Zytglogge astronomical clock tower, and the fountains on Spitalgasse and Kramgasse streets. You may also visit the Federal Palace of Switzerland and the house where Albert Einstein lived.

Another highlight is the Bärenpark. Across the River Aare, this green space is home to several brown bears. We will discuss how these animals symbolize Bern and their connection to the city's name.

After 2 hours exploring the city, we will conclude our private tour of Bern at a central location of your choice.
