Routes and Stops

The Munich sightseeing bus, Big Bus, offers two routes with stops at key attractions such as Marienplatz, Stachus, Nymphenburg Palace, and Olympiapark. This double-decker convertible vehicle enables you to tour the city at your own pace, hopping on and off as often as you wish, while enjoying commentaries recorded in English.

Green Line: includes stops at Karlsplatz, Odeonsplatz, Eisbach River, Deutsches Museum, Marienplatz, and Max-Joseph-Platz.Orange Line: starts at Karlsplatz with stops at Nymphenburg Palace, Olympiapark/BMW Welt & Museum, and Schwabing.

Options

You can choose among the following ticket options:

24-hour ticket: unlimited access to the Big Bus Green Line for 24 hours.Full 24-hour ticket: access to both green and orange lines, unlimited for 24 hours.Full 48-hour ticket: unlimited access to both routes for 48 hours.

How does it work?

The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours from first use, allowing unlimited hop on and off during that time. You may book with a start date valid for 6 months from the indicated date. A voucher will be sent via email, to be presented on the first bus.

Schedule and Frequencies

Green line

Times: daily from 10 am to 5 pm.Frequency: every 30 minutes.Total duration of the route: 1 hour.

Orange line

Times: daily from 10 am to 4 pm.Frequency: approximately every 30 minutes.Total duration of the route: approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
