Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Sonnenstraße 1 in Munich and depart for the south of Bavaria on a comfortable bus. During the two-hour trip, our English-speaking guide will provide information about the region.

Our first stop will be at Schloss Linderhof, the smallest castle of the Bavarian King. You can choose to enjoy a guided tour of the castle, walk through the grounds, or have tea or coffee in the scenic surroundings.

Next, we'll proceed to Hohenschwangau, where you'll have time to eat at a restaurant and visit Neuschwanstein Castle.

We'll have the chance to see Neuschwanstein Castle and also admire the nearby Hohenschwangau Castle, the childhood home of Ludwig II of Bavaria. We'll learn about this historical figure, known as the Mad King, while admiring the castle that inspired Disney.

You can choose to enter Neuschwanstein Castle to see its interior. Tickets are not included, but you won't have to wait in line. The castle is a short uphill walk from the car park, with options for horse-drawn carriage or bus transport available.

After a 10.5-hour tour of German history and architecture, we'll return to Munich, where the tour concludes.

Tickets for Neuschwanstein Castle are not included in the trip price (37EUR for adults and 5EUR for children under 18). Tickets can be purchased from your guide by card on the day. If you prefer not to enter the monument, you can spend your free time exploring the area.
